If you read the ''About'' section or if you follow me on my facebook page you already know that I pretty much do everything myself when it comes to photography.

As you know, there is a lot of work that goes into photoshoots especially the alternative ones: there's the wardrobe picking, makeup, styling, finding location, having a decent photography equipment and skills, post-processing/editing the images and the networking.

Why do I choose to do all that myself?

Well first of all I really enjoy the whole process. I'm passionate about photography and I invest a lot of money in it. I've been taking photos at a higher level, meaning with a DSLR, for about 3 years. I wish I could afford really fancy equipment but my budget can't really get me all that I want. I try to do my best with what I have and I learn every day.
I do sometimes take photos of some of my friends and I even shoot a wedding once.
When I take picture of someone else I'm usually in charge of the styling and the vision of the photos.

I'm also passionate about makeup and fashion. I think makeup is very complex, fun and a tool for self expression and creativity. I'm constantly learning in this department as well.
When it comes to fashion my inspirations is definitely the Gothic subculture. My favorite styles are trad/post-punk, Victorian, gothabilly and some nu-goth (or casual goth as I like to call it). I'm not only into the fashion but also the dark music, literature and general gothy lifestyle but I'll get more into that in a future post.

So I really can't be just a ''model'' and actually don't consider myself that because I want to get involved in all the creativity of photography and I think that by doing this I can get better skills in a multitude of departments.

Don't get me wrong, I am open to some collaborations but I live in a small town and I'm pretty much the only one interested in this stuff.
Needless to say what I do provides me with an excellent escape from the boring world around me and gives me motivation to go on.
